After the Second
World War, a Junior League operated in Inverness, folding after the 1952-53
season. The remaining teams were Hill Rovers, Nelson, Craig Dunean, Merkinch
Rangers, Culeabock Athletic and AN Other. Hill Rovers
actually remained in the Scottish Junior FA for another two years playing in
the Scottish Junior Cup each year. When the hoped for Junior League didn't
reform, they opted to joined the Highland Reserve League, which into the
North Caledonian League. |
