Nearly every senior team from Falkirk
& District competed in this competition. The obvious exceptions were
Denny & Dunipace who instead played in the Stirling & District Cup..
All matches were played at neutral venues with the exception of the 1886-87
First Round. For the first two seasons the Falkirk Charity Cup Committee
arranged an extra match based upon how well players performed in the competition.
The competition was resurrected for one year only in 1913-14. The results etc on this page were

In 1889 Grahamston scratched to East
Stirling in the First Round the teams played a friendlyinstead, East Stirling
winning 5-2.
East Stirling's first defeat was in their
14th match.
Carron & West Carron may have been the
same team.
In the first round in 1886 Camelon defeated
Grahamston 5-0 but were disqualified for fielding ineligible players.
The last years of the competition were a
disaster, with withdrawals and teams refusing to playand although it was never
officially ended it was allowed to lapse.
It was resurrected in 1913, but the First
World War ended it after one season.
